Everything was normal the night of the party. The end of the school year was the celebration, and truth or dare was the game. I looked up from my black dress as our buddy Carter called out the one dare no one could have imagined,"Bruce, and I dare you to kiss... Sara. Ten seconds at the least!" Everyone stopped, and I raised an eyebrow to Bruce...

I shuddered a bit. Sara was giving my an unapproving look. But it was truth or dare. You either had to do it or you'd hear about "chickening out" for months. Besides, we'd kissed each others cheeks and such before. I just shrugged, and kissed her softly and quickly.

See, a quick peck on the lips would have been fine, but you had the kids around us counting down, and just sitting there for eight second wouldn't do. If I was getting kissed, it would be a good kiss. I turned my head slightly, pressing my lips closer to Bruce's.

I listened to the people counting down, and it was weird, but I had this sensation in my stomach...Like a thousand birds were singing and fluttering around. I listened to the "Five..four..three...two...one.." go down, and it ended. And I realized I was blushing like mad.
