I walked into the meeting sitting down comfortably in one of the free seats. I looked round at all the girls smirking. I agreed this would be fun even if I did act like I didn't care less. I sat clicking my tongue waiting for something to happen. I put my book away when I had finished the chapter. I had to before I got more pulled into it. I looked round unsure of whether everyone was here or not. "Is this everyone?" I asked the room timidly smiling.

Every morning you get up and put on a fake smile...but what if one morning you didn't? Would anyone notice?

I didn't want to admit it. It was easier to lie. Hide the hurt and emptiness. To smile instead of cry.

I hurried into the room "sorry, sorry, sorry" I mumbled, sitting down in the last available seat. I was late, again I chuckled at the girl who had just entered then leaned back in my chair

"I believe so," I replied. The room wasn't packed up with eager kids waiting to have fun planning a carnival. Quite the contrary, it was lightly sprinkled with kids who didn't care less, and just wanted the extra credit. That didn't matter to me though. Even though my reputation stood against it, I was an above average student. I just didn't get straight A's, and I didn't participate a lot in class. I looked around the room. Not that many kids really showed up to this kind of stuff. Some kids that needed the extra credit, and said they would show, obviously couldn't be bothered to show their faces at this kind of thing. It would obviously "ruin their reputation."

"Hehe!" I giggled, smiling. "Let's get started!" I squealed eagerly, bouncing up and down in my seat, with help from my boots of course. I think I may be the most excited one in the room! I love carnivals, and I don't know why these people won't admit they love them too. They're so fun! Everyone should love them. "Cat's right, we need to start." I said, taking out the pencil from behind my ear. "So, has everyone decided what they want to do?" I asked, getting right to business. I had promised myself I was going to take this seriously, and that's exactly what I'm going to do. Everyone else might think it would hurt their rep, but it all goes well it can only make their reputation better, but everyone was just thinking that it would fail horribly, so I was determined to prove them wrong.
