You might hear your parents tell you this alot, and you might think it's just a bunch of boring words, but it's true - "The Internet in unsafe." It really is. But, to our advantage, we have an amaing and safe kids website - Kidzworld! But, it dosen't stay that way automatically. The Admins, Moderators, and Junior Moderators try there very best to keep us safe. Why just lay around and let them do all the work? Even if you're a normal member, you can still help keep Kidzworld safe. Follow these tips so Kidzworld can stay as amazing as it is.
Read and follow the rules. Just like any other website these days, there are rules. Rules you must follow. They're simple little things, like No cursing, talking in caps, ect. Why not take a look?
Report anything supicious. If you see a post on the forums or a comment that seems suspicious [Ex. If you think someone is older than they say, breaking the rules, ect.] , then press the little "Report" button located at the bottom of the comment or post.
-Don't make chain messages complaining about "So and so isn't 16, they're 42" The last thing any of us want to deal with is an annoying chain message. Just report that member and everything will be fine.
Don't purposely break the rules. I've seen people who have broken the rules after obviously reading them. I mean, seriously. It's stupid and pointless. Why do it?
Don't get mad at an Admin, Junior Moderator or Moderator. If they delete a post, kick you from chat, lock your account,lock your thread, ect. they most likely did it for a reason. They are all trained and know what they're doing. If they did it on accident, don't go on and gripe at them. It was an accident. Everyone makes mistakes.
Don't bug the Admins or Moderators. They are very busy doing there job. Yes, you can say "Hi" and start a conversation, but don't be a troll.
Appreciate the Admins, Moderators, and Junior Moderators. The Admins and Moderators are adults, and this is there job. The Junior Moderators give up lots of time to do there job, helping keep the site in place. They do alot of work for us. They're not appreciated as much as they should be. Be sure you stop by their profile and thank them for all they've done for us.
