Can anybody try to explain to me clearly what a complement is? I'm trying to do this Language Arts Excercise, but ugh. I can't get what the heck a complement is!

ok.. Umm, I think I know what to do but I'm not sure. Ok are there any examples? If so that may help. If not, scan the sentences for indirect objects/direct objects/ predicates/etc
