Anyone know how to solve this (solve for g): -g = 2 ½ g - 3
(negative g equals two and a half g minus three) and also explain how you got the answer.

+3 to both sides so that you have:

3-g = 2.5g

Then +g to both sides, so you have

3 = 3.5g

And then you divide by the coefficient of g. 

Congratulations, now you know how to math.
