So we all are back to school. We always get stressed and pressurised due to examinations and tests ... So this in this forum thread you can post tips that can help others to relieve their exam stress smile And share your experiences that what is your method of reducing stress Wink

So here is my opinion : Exam pressure can led to much more harmful consequences. So don't worry, be cool and calm. Don't think much. Just practice and work hard. You will eventually get the result. Whatever the result be, accept it and move on. Work harder next time. A single sheet of paper can't decide your future instead what you had gained and the hard work you did will surely pay off. So just do fun, study hard and don't be stressed.

How to manage stress?
•Learn to recognise when you're stressing out. A break or a chat with someone who knows the pressure you're under will get things into perspective.
•Avoid comparing your abilities with your mates. Those "Oh my God! I've only completed the chapter 17 times" conversations are such a wind up. Everyone approaches revision in different ways, so just make sure you've chosen the method that works best for you. Make a realistic timetable. Stick to it.
•Eat right. Treat yourself like a well honed machine - eat fresh fruit and veg and have a proper breakfasts. Fuel your brain as well as your body - no one can think straight on coffee and chocolate.
•Sleep well. Wind down before bed and don't revise under the duvet - your bed is a sanctuary, not a desk. Get your eight hours.
•Exercise. Nothing de-stresses the mind faster than physical activity, so build it into your timetable. Being a sloth makes our mind sloppy too.
• Quit the bad habits.
•Panic is often triggered by hyperventilating (quick, shallow breaths). So if you feel yourself losing it during the exam, sit back for a moment and control your breathing. Deep breath in and out through the nose, counting to five each way.
•Steer clear of any exam 'post-mortem'. It doesn't matter what your mate wrote for Question 3(b), it's too late to go back and change your answers, so it will just make you worry even more.

Ultimately, don't lose sight of the fact that there is life after exams. Things might seem intense right now, but it won't last forever. Best of luck smile

I do one thing. If I am having dificulty learning an answer or a set of words to remember or something like that, I make up a keyword for it, or something funny that sticks in my head. For example if an answer has: "she had to eat lunch, do homework, clean her room, practice music and play with her brother", (Just an example XD) To remember it easily I make up something like l (Lunch) h (homework) m (music) r (room) p (play). Or something like that. It works XD

I can feel your pain. It's very... uh.. painful
