A rich man has 3 sons and 19 cars. When he dies, he leaves the 19 cars to his 3 sons. The oldest son gets 1/2 of the cars, the middle son gets 1/4 of the cars and the youngest son gets 1/5 of the cars. One of the conditions is that the cars are not be cut up , and must remain in one piece. The sons are confused. How do they solve this issue? I loves this riddle and I tihnk this is the wrong answer but Im gonna says it anyways and is it the oldest boy gets all the cars 1/2 the time and the middle son gets them 1/4 the time and they divides them by the time and not the actual cars? [wonders]

Me post disappeared I think me answer is wrong but is it that one son gets all the cars for half the time and then the middle one gets it quarter of the time and the youngest for the fifth ?

Sell 4 of the cars. Divide the money between the sons. Then there is 15 cars. Divide the 15 by 3 and each son gets 5 cars.

Some one loans the boys a car making 20 cars total The oldest takes 1/2 of the cars = 10 Cars The middle takes 1/4 of the cars = 5 Cars And the youngest takes 1/5 of the cars = 4 cars They then return the loaned car
