I never thought I'd grow to be so infatuated with BLS but they've grown on me.  BLS is Zakk Wylde's band, that absolutely destroys. They don't get that much credit in the metal world, but still I think they're great.  Their album Mafia is wonderful. Zakk wrote the song "In This River" in honor of the famed Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrel. It's like a power ballad on steroids, if you haven't heard it.

I think it's up therein terms of sadness, you can legitimately hear the sorrow in Zakk's voice, which is why I think he's an underrated singer.
