So, the kids I babysit are 11&12 and their parents have given me permission to let them watch a scary movie next week as long as its not 'too scary' as this will be the first time they've watched anything scarier than Ghostbusters... and i don't know what is 'not too scary'! I'm obviously not going to let them watch The Human Centipede or Saw but what about something like The Poltergeist or Nightmare on Elm Street? What do you guys think?please help!

How about Coraline? It's pretty creepy, but it's also an animation.

I would say one of the old classic ones like Nightmare On Em Street or Friday The 13th or if you really wanna scare them then The Exorcist of course that has some bad language in it, and it might not be appropriate
