I have a white rabbit called Charlie, and I've had him for a year now. When we first got him, Charlie was very shy. I just thought that he would warm to me and my brother when we had had him for longer. But he is still really scared of me and will hardly ever come outside so he is getting rather fat. I don't know how old he is as we found him in our garden. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong? Any advice??

That is like my cat, George. Sometime's he is affectionate, or sometimes he goes into his "crazy" mode and runs around. He won't even let you come near him.

So here's my advice:

Set a treat down near you and get him to have it. Then put your hand out back side in front (don't pet him)  and let him come to you. If he runs away or won't come or something, that's just who he is: REALLY shy. You just gotta live with it.

Life is short, make it worth living
