Yerp they're safe if you know what you're doing and if you have someone else with you when you're near them. I made the mistake of standing behind one at my mate's birthday party, at the beach and on a school trip to Aintree Racecourse and got kicked in the stomach each time o.O And no I don't think you're crazy, unless you're like me a decide to stand behind them, then maybe you are xD

Yes. If you're riding a horse properly, there probably won't be any problems. But, like with any activity, there's always a chance that something bad might happen. You just need to know the limits of your abilities.

Of course they aren't safe! That's why horsey people are so tough! :P Just kidding! It really depends on the horse and how you treat it, because the average horse is perfectly safe if you treat it respectfully, but if it's been abused, it might be very timid of humans, and might strike out at you or freak out. But generally, horses really are just like giant dogs, all they want is food, frequent pats, and love. If you give them that, they should be just fine. :3

I'm not a huge horse fan, but I think horses are safe, it's the ability of the person riding the horse. If you have no experience, it's likely you could injure yourself. But even with the best riders in the world, there's still a risk that thet could get hurt.

HORSES ARE SAFE AND IF THEY THROW SOMEONE OFF IT'S MANLY CAUSE THEY GET SPOOKED BY SOMETHING OR THERE NOT USED TO A PERSON RIDING THEM BUT WITH TRAINING AND SOME TLC THEY CAN BE YOUR BEST FRIEND
