Hello to all cat-lovers! Here are 8 ways to show a cat affection! By the way, I found these on the internet so they may or may not be true. 1.) Pet them! Cats love to be stroked from the bridge of their nose to the tip of their tail. They love it when you scratch their cheeks and under their chin, too. 2.) Listen to them! No one wants to ignored, and that includes cats. If they meow to get out of your arms, let them go. If they scratch at your door to let them out, let them out. 3.) Play with them! Toss a little toy mouse around for them or let them wrestle a piece of string. Not only is it fun for them, but they also exercise that way. 4.) Snuggle with them! Every cat loves a human companion to sleep with them at night. Make them a nice bed to sleep on in your room. 5.) Reward them! Have they had a good day? Give them a treat. The occasional treat is rewarding to them. You can buy cat treats at most local grocery stores and pet stores sell them, too. 6.) Talk to them! A soothing voice is always comforting. Talk to them in a soft, high-pitched voice. It makes them feel safe. 7.) Brush them! It takes the excess hair off, prevents hair balls, and it feels great to them. 8.) Treat a cat like a cat! Let them be themselves, don't be surprised if you cannot train them. They are cats, not dogs.
