(This next part is kind of messed up, once you finish the first bit you have to read the second even if you feel really disturbed.)
"Like what?"The gruff voiced man asks.
I ponder for awhile before saying"Cloth would work."
"I'm not giving you my clothes."he answers.
"Not our clothing. The dead don't need clothes, so we take it off the bodies"I say, kneeling down.
"You're disgusting!"the woman wails, she was beginning to annoy me.
I begin feeling around with one hand, trying to find the nearest body. When I grab hold of one I try not to flinch away from the cold skin. After getting a good grip on a piece of cloth I pull and here the ripping of fabric. Screwing it up into a ball I close my hands together until it catches alight. I start ripping off some more fabric when a loud crackling hiss echoes around and suddenly the cave was completely light. The woman let's out a shrill scream and I look at the hand holding the fire. Right beside it was the kitten, ablaze with flames. I jump up, screaming. I can feel the tears running down my face as I struggle to think of what to do.
"Do something!"The woman screams but I can't do anything but watch in horror.
One of the men rushes forward and goes to stamp out the flame. "Don't stand on it!"I cry, pulling him back.
We all watch, mortified, as the flames lick at the the body of the cat. Despite my panicked mind I can't help but notice the cat seems unfazed by the fact it's burning alive. In fact it's just sitting there, head tilted sideways, watching us curiously. It stands up and shakes, the flame's die down and it sits back down unscathed. The woman feints again and I fall to my knees, shaking. The kitten flicks it tail up and the end sparks a few times before a small flame appears. Then it proceeds to clean it's face, like nothing had happened.
