I walk through the village, the crisp, breezy air blowing my hair back against my face. I can see beautiful, white elegant creatures chirping inside a cone-shaped building (A/N: the dovecote. It's a place in the village where they kept little white doves). They are concealed behind the stony walls, forbidden to do what they please. I bump into Ralph- a man who assigns jobs and shouts at people who do their jobs wrong. Surprisingly, he waves at me and I smile back. I look dreamily up at the manor house, the biggest house in the entire village. The Manor house is clean, grand and it is the home of the most richest person. My mouth waters as I think of the sausages, the creamy desserts and the shining red wine. I shake my head, trying to clear my thoughts, walking towards the church, listening to the soothing bells. I can feel my heart racing as I think of John, my husband, waiting for me back at home. He must be feeling miserable since we haven't payed our taxes.
Oh Lord, please help us!
