I woke up slowly, as I always do.
Slowly blinking myself awake. I could see from the bright sun shining through my window, that it was almost noon. "Great... Late again." I muttered as I stood up. I pulled my musty, grey, pajama shirt over my head and swapped it with a hyper, bright pink, tank top. It clearly was against school rules, did I care? Hah, no. I pulled on my extremely short shorts and sighed. Today is another boring day, in my boring life, in this boring world. I yawned and slowly opened my door a creak to see if mom was home, she wasn't thank god. I walked down the endless hallway that made me feel slightly trapped. At the top of the brown cedar stairs, I saw Jake, our frickin crazy black Husky. He treated me as a stranger, why? I don't know, we just hate each other. I heard him growl at me as I took a step down to the second step. Great. I hope I don't get bit. That's some major shiz that I don't mess with. I smirked down at him, and growled back. He looked shocked that I had done anything. "Wow, that's one stupid dog..." I said to myself, laughing. I quickly hopped down to the second to last step and growled again. He glared at me with a wolfish grin, I gladly smiled back. Leaning against the wooden railing that belonged to our stairs, I glanced back behind me out the small windows in our kitchen. Clear skys, puffy white clouds, oh such an ugly day.. Just then, something hit me from the front, teeth sliced through my skin, and I blacked out.
