Chapter 24 Author's Note: Okay, so I finally finished writing chapter 24! Not that it matters because of the lack of readers. : ( I think this is okay but I guess it doesn't matter much anymore. As I pulled away, one thought ran through my mind. "Westley's the one!" I smiled at him. "Titus is gonna kill me," said Westley. I shrugged. "Not if he doesn't know." He smiled and I quickly climbed down the tree. Westley followed, but I quickly stopped him. "You have to stay here, so Titus doesn't know about us," I said. Westley nodded and I ran to our site. I walked over to Titus and sat down next to him. "Hey!" "Hey, you feeling better?" he asked. "Yeah, much better actually," I said. My eyes wandered around the sight, pretending to look for Westley. "Um, where's Westley?" I finally asked. "He said he was going hunting." "Oh," I said, nodding. I heard Titus sigh and I looked up at him. "You okay?" I asked. He shook his head and stared at the ground. I gently grabbed his shoulder. "What's wrong?" He looked deep in my eyes. "I know you love Westley." My face turned tomato red.   "H-How did you know?" He looked down at the ground again. "I see the way you look at him." I looked at the ground too. "Titus, I-" "It's alright," he said. I wasn't convinced because I could hear the pain in his voice. "I just want you to be happy," he whispered. I felt my heart break in half to what he had said. Did he really mean that? About him just wanting me to be happy? I stared at him. "Really?" I could tell Titus was trying to hold back his tears, but he nodded. I quickly pulled him into a hug. "Thank you," I whispered, while I ran my fingers through his hair. He gently pushed me away and spoke. "But, I should tell you something," he said. I looked at him confused. "It's about Westley." Author's Note: Wow. Whatever right? Ya'll are hurting me so much by not reading, but I can't force ya to read it right? So, What is Titus going to say about Westley? When is Westley coming back? Chapter 25 Author's Note: Wow! Calidawg13 made my day. Thank you so much complimenting my work. It made me feel much better after no one else read my story. So I wrote chapter 25 today along with Chapter 26 an I am almost done with Chapter 27! Hope you enjoy! I looked up at him nervously. "What do you mean?" Titus took a deep breath and looked in my eyes. "Westley is-" "Hey you two!" Westley said walking into the site. Titus scooted away from me. I sighed in frustration. I really wanted to know what Titus had to say about Westley. Titus looked at the ground and frowned while Westley pulled me into a hug. I looked over Westley's shoulder and could see the sadness in his eyes. I met his eyes and mouthed the words: "I'm sorry." As Westley and I pulled away, Titus stood up and walked over to the two of us. "We should really be moving on," he said. When he said move on, I thought he meant end me and him as friends. I took a minute for me to realize, he meant move to a different site. I nodded in agreement and kept my head low. "Winter, hide the scraps of food in the water and Westley, cover the fireplace with snow so no one will track us down. I'll see if I can find a better place to rest," Titus said and walked deeper into the woods. Westley and I did as we were told and then we waited. Many minutes passed and I was growing worried. Where was Titus? He'd never take this long. I stood up and ran through the woods, pushing branches out of my way. I screamed his name.  "Titus! Titus!"  No response. "Titus!!!!!!!!" I pushed past a few more branches before I finally found Titus leaning forward above a lake, face to face with a siren. Author's Note: Thanks for reading! What will happen to Titus? Chapter 26 Author's Note: Hey guys, so Chapter 26 and 27 are done and I'm almost done with chapter 28. I've cut down to one chapter a day because not many people read. Here's Chapter 26! Sirens were well known for charming people with their beauty and their voices and luring them to their death. This siren had dark brown curly hair and piercing green eyes. Her lips were painted rosy red and her skin was light but also covered in pink scales. Her tail and bra matched her skin tone. Light pink. The siren stroked Titus' cheek and kept her eyes glued to his. Titus was kneeling in his place, letting the monster touch him. He was so frozen, it was possible that he was paralyzed. "Titus!" I screamed. The siren hissed at me and her eyes glowed a blood red to show off her anger. I felt something grab my shoulder and I screamed. I was whipped around to come face to face with Westley. "Shhh.... Winter, calm down, it's me," he said stroking my hair. I hugged Westley and cried. "Winter, what's wrong?" I couldn't tell him. Then he would know that I had feelings for Titus, but I couldn't let Westley think that me and Titus were dating. As I cried, I could hear the siren's sweet voice. "It's me, Titus. Winter. This will all go away, I promise. All you have to do, is kiss me," she whispered, holding his face in her hands. "Winter..." Titus whispered. "That's right," the siren whispered. She pulled Titus' face closer and pressed her lips to his. I knew what was happening. The siren was taking my form and luring Titus into her trap. "TITUS!" I screamed in tears, but before I knew it, he was pulled into the lake. Author's Note: Oh no! xD Now I must give credit to my sister Emma a.k.a. Chapter 27 Author's Note: Okay, so I wrote this chapter a couple days ago, but like I said, I only type exactly one chapter a day now because of the lack of readers. So thank you and please ENJOY! "NO! TITUS!" I screamed, as I tried to get out of Westley's grasp.  His grasp tightened around me and I fell to the ground. I shivered from the cold snow and Westley ran over to the lake and dove in. I put my face in my hands and cried. What have I done? I probably just lost my friends. Bubbles floated to the surface. I crawled over to the border of the lake and waited. Soon, Westley came to the surface, gasping for air and holding Titus, unconscious in his arms. I grabbed a hold of Titus' arms and yanked him out of the water. I lay him down on the snow covered forest floor. His eyes were closed, his hair was plastered to his forehead from the water. He didn't breather because of all the water in his lungs. Tears stained my face.  "Titus! No!" I screamed, trying to shake him awake. Westley started to get out of the lake when I figured out what I had to do. I had to perform CPR. I didn't want to, not in front of Westley, but I had to act quick if I wanted Titus to live. I took a deep breath, tilted Titus' head back, pinched his nose shut, inhaled and pressed my lips against his and exhaled. Author's Note: Yeah I know it was short, but hey you gotta admit it was kinda cute. Will Winter bring Titus back to life? What will Westley say? Find out in chapter 28!
