Chapter 33
Author's Note: Hey guys! So, Gamergurl3DS really wanted me to write the next chapter and her comment put such a huge smile on my face so I'm giving her a big THANK YOU for that, because it made my day. And the rest of you keep commenting please! It really makes my day! : )
I felt warm. Really warm in fact. How was that possible though? I was just outside a minute ago. My eyes slowly fluttered open. As they adjusted, I realized I was lying on Titus' bed, wrapped in blankets. I sat upright, only to be pushed back down on my back. I looked up and met eyes with the man who pushed me back down. Grant. He smiled at me and my eyes filled with tears. He held out his arms to me as if offering me a warm hug. I jolted upright again, wrapped my arms around his neck and sobbed. Grant rubbed my back as an attempt to calm me down. His mother and father barged in the room because of my loud wails. I was surprised Titus' father even cared about me, considering how many times he had insulted me for the past seven years. I guess I couldn't blame him for him being sympathetic though. After all, his youngest son had died.
"Is it true?" I sobbed, "Is Titus.... dead?"
The parents suddenly looked confused and the mother walked over to me and wiped my tears away.
"What do you mean dear?" she asked.
"My father told me that Titus was dead."
Titus' mother shook her head. "No, darling. He's not dead.... yet," she sobbed.
I pulled away from Grant's embrace. "What do you mean? Not yet?"
His mother moved over to her husband and hugged him tightly. In response, he rubbed her back gently. She soon bursted into tears and turned to face me. Her face was covered in warm salty tears as she told me the horrid news.
"Titus will be executed after tomorrow for kidnapping."

I will not be posting anymore tonight, however chapter 34 is already written and I will type it up as soon as I get home from school tomorrow and spring break is coming up for me!
