Authors Note: I Write A Lot, On KW & Off, And Obviously Not All Of My Stories Are Finished, As Sometimes I Do Not Have Enough Readers. I Really Hope You Enjoy This Story, And Even If You Don't; I'd Be Happy If You Could Tell Me How I Can Improve. (: -Chapter 1- I walked through the door, and my nostrils burnt with the smell of rotting and damp. "Dad, are you sure we got the right place?" I asked, as politely as possible. "Quite sure, Violet. I guess it's not a fairytale, but it's not that bad. I can do this up in no time." My dad was right about it not being a fairy tale, it was more of a prison. But he was wrong about being able to do it up, I don't think anyone could do a house this disgusting up- if you could call it a house. My name is Violet, I think it's because of my eyes. They're startling violet coloured, and my hair is as black as coal. I always guessed I inherited my looks from my mother; but I couldn't be sure, I never knew my mother. No one talked of my mother, not even my dad. He told me to stop interferring when I tried to ask him about it. I don't know whether she was dead or alive, no one would even tell me that. I don't really have any other family apart from my dad, all my relatives are dead. My room wasn't quite as bad. My pale bed was in the corner, with a wooden wardrobe at the side. The wall was covered in damp nearest the door, but hopefully my dad could fix that up- I hoped he could. My dad got a new job, so we moved house. But I don't think it was just because of that. All the children at my old school would chant 'Witch, Witch, You're A Witch!" at me when I walked by. I didn't know why...I'd never been mean to any of them, I'm shy, I hardly to anyone. I just can't get their chants and taunts out of my head...I guess they thought I was a witch because when I got mad, weird things happen. One girl was calling me a loser once, and it was like an invisible hand just leaned over and slapper her. I guess you could call me...Different.
