Chapter 2 - Two months earlier
The sun was just creeping up over the horizon, casting an unearthly glow over everything in the street. The only living thing on the street was a black alleycat slinking along the edge of a garden fence, which quickly disappeared out of sight. I looked around, there was definitely nobody else around. My phone rang from inside my coat pocket, suddenly breaking the silence. I pulled it out, checking the caller I.D. Unknown number?
I thought to myself, wondering who it could've been. I flipped up the screen and held it up to my ear. "Yeah?" "Shane. Didn't think you'd show up." I gulped. For some reason it'd only just occurred to me why I was actually here. "Keep heading down the block until you reach the church." His voice said through the speaker. I began walking subconsciously towards what looked

I stopped. Walking to my own-
"Keep walking." His voice was hard and made me jump, but I didn't continue. "Go!" "No." He hung up, leaving me stood there looking like an idiot. It was then I heard a loud screeching come from behind me. I turned around; a tall man dressed completely in back jumped out of a car and ran towards me. Before I could take in what was going on, he'd grabbed me and began pulling me back towards the car. "Let go," I struggled, trying to get free, but his grip was strong, there was no way it would even loosen. He shoved me into the back seat of the car and slammed the door, leaving me in darkness. The engine revved and the car sped off at an immense speed. "Wh-what's going on?" I slammed my fist against the window, but there was no reply.
Hiya! This is a bit short, and I'm not really very fussed about it, but hope you like
You know what "Normal" is? A setting on a washing machine. No one wants to be that.
