I havent come up with a name for it yet, This isn't even the full chapter one, its only about half of it.. This is my first story so..here goes nothing.. If you can't read it, I'll repost it in a different font. Just lemme know Naomii’s Story  I quickly look out over the balcony, seeing no guards. I then grabbed my pack and quietly slipped out of my room and passed my parents sleeping chamber. Once I got to the end of the hall I hurried down the servant’s staircase and out of the palace. I looked to the sky, my body feeling suddenly hollow with the realization that I couldn’t see the moon. `Pushing the thought aside, I put up my hood and started walking, slowly and silently toward the edge of the kingdom to the forest. I turned around, to take one final look at my home before slipping into the forest, Within minutes of finding a good spot, I’d already started a small fire and collected extra firewood. I opened my pack and took out a blanket to lie on. As I lay there, I closed my eyes, thinking about what I’d learned about my family earlier today. Naomii had just been called into the throne room; her parents had something important to say. She was surprised when her father has dismissed the guards and servants. Her mother was the first to speak saying they had something important to say. Then her father began speaking about how everyone was different and that’s what makes them special. Naomii, wishing they would get to it quicker, asked what this was about, causing both of her parents to get quiet. After a few seconds of silence her mother was the one to speak, “As far as most people and animals know, we are separate. Animals have their own purpose and people theirs. But, you see, that’s not always the case.”Then her father began,“See, there are special people and sometimes even full families who have been given a gift…”Now they began to speak together,“The gift to live not just one existence, but two, to live as human and animal. Also, to go back and forth at will.”Her father again,“Your mother and I are of the few born with this gift, an so…it is now passed onto you”Naomii stood, looking back and forth between her mother and father“Naomii…”They said together, “We’re wolves.” I woke up suddenly the next morning. I thought I’d heard something. I looked at the area around me. Something didn’t feel right, so I climbed to the top of the closest tree. Just at that moment, someone went by on a horse. I saw the emblem of my father on his armor and knew it was a guard from the palace. My parents had realized I was gone!I didn’t come down from the tree until I was certain he was gone. After looking to the sky, I began to walk further into the forest. I started to think of things I might need before sunset.I stopped walking when I came to a clearing where I believed to be the middle of the forest. I dropped my pack and started to collect some more wood. As I was collecting I had an idea, ‘Why not just make myself a new home right here?’ It was time’s like this that made me happy that my father treated me like a favorite son instead of an only daughter. It wasn’t long before I had built myself a decent looking cabin.Since I now had a nice new home, I needed food, since my supply from the palace had rapidly deteriorated. I also needed a weapon. ’How am I suppose to defend myself?’   I opened my pack…It was empty! I walked out of my cabin, and sat on the ground. ‘No…No…No….’ I began to think repeatedly, and soon I was saying it out loud. “No what?” A voice spokeMy head jerked up and, with my eyes wide, I surveyed my surroundings. I then heard a laugh from a behind a bush.“Who are you that you have the nerve to laugh at your future queen?”I said mostly because I was upset about not having any food.“You can understand me?” The voice askedThis question confused me so instead of answering, I walked closer to the bush. Then stepped out the most beautiful animal I’d ever seen. A slender wolf with fur as red as fire, eyes as dark as the bark of a tree, and from the tip of his left ear to his tail was a streak of orange so bright, it was almost yellow. Then the creature began to morph.I watched in awe as the wolf began to take the shape of a human. I could see now that he was one of the upper-classmen from the cloth her wore. “Did my father send you?”I asked him suspiciously while stepping back.
