Agony of a Shattered Heart
No everything is not alright, not when I cry myself to sleep at night.
Can''t you tell I''m lying when I say I''m fine?
Of course you can''t, that''s why I say it, so you won''t know the truth.
So you won''t see my world collapsing all around me.
You could never understand the agony I endure.
No one can see my scars and wounds, no one can here me scream.
Nightmares form a whirlpool in my sea of dreams, pulling me under.
Rejection is my shadow, stupidity my curse.
Mayhap one day I shall find solace, in a safe haven in which I may dwell.
Until this day comes, if ever I remain a nomadic outcast.
Ever on the outside looking in, unable to cross the invisible barrier dividing me from the rest of the world.
