It's ###### to do so. You have consciously chosen to cause the death of another human being. So no, it is not morally more just to ###### someone.

You're missing the part of "at their behest"

You wouldn't relieve someone of agonizing pain if they requested it? That sounds morally wrong to me, to be frank.

How can a 1 day old Ask for it?

I do not like bad grammar, and there is a high chance of me correcting you.

It's being used for patients that are already going to die soon anyways. It relieves their suffering, although, I think they should go out of their way to make sure the person is comfortable during that period. It doesn't sound like they're doing that yet in these cases.#

Thats my point, You get it!!

I'm not saying that their attempting to quicken the process is bad, I'm talking about the suffering that happens DURING the process

I wouldn't. They are saying that obviously because they are in pain, they don't really mean it.

True. It would seem better to just let them die... naturally? Is that the right word for it?

That doesn't have any relevance to what I'm talking about.

I'm responding to the comment:

Euthanasia needs to be illegal. It's sickening.

Which is related to the original topic, which is primarily about euthanasia.

You guys are just really black and white on the issue instead of thinking about it rationally. If someone is suffering, the society we've been brought up in and biological imperative tells us to relieve them of that. If someone is in agony, they should have the right to decide if they want to 'go' or not.

Obviously a baby is not capable of making the decision that (s)he wants to end his/her own life, but that's not really what I'm trying to point out here.
