How is it not? Most schools define bullying as verbal, mental, emotional or physical abuse. Fights are physical abuse. Whether it's bullying or not, it's wrong either way.

Can you elaborate on that? How is it a two way conflict? 

In most cases, fights are caused by arguments between two people enraged at each other for doing something to one another. Since they both are involved in the fight its both of their problems. Where bullying is just one person or a group, wailing on another person (sometimes defenseless) because of their own problems when the target has almost nothing to do with anything going on with the bully.

im just gonna jump in here srry.. I have been bullied since grade school.I kniw how it feel's  being picked on constantly and how when you try to ignore it.it'll actually get worse.Last yr in grade six i was beat up by older boys twice.This yr in grade seven i was jumped and we fought i won but the bullying continued.Bullying has gotten soooooo bad for me tht im now doing home school.

Bullying is very wrong. But I do not think you should make the bullies life a living nightmare. That's just as wrong as killing a murderer. Killing someone isn't going to bring the other person back to life. Anyways, most kids & teens bully because they want to feel empowered, or they have a bad life at home or something. Either way its wrong. So if you are a bully STOP. If you are being bullied - tell an adult.

Bullying really is wrong; almost everyone agrees. But, for those of you who just decide to ignore it,   that doesn't make a difference. Ignoring is like enabling them to do it more. Speak out!!!  , Libby
