I think they should follow the proper channels and become legal. There are reasons to make sure the people who come here are legal... like we don't want to hide criminals, terrorists, ect. BUT I also think it shouldn't be all that hard to go through the proper channels.

Precisely this. I'm not knowledgeable on the subject at all, but it stands to reason that the large number of illegal immigrants is caused by difficulty of getting into the US.

Eh. If you are a hardworking person, don't cause any trouble, sure, let them stay. Mainly, I would support their kids staying. I have a friend who's at risk for deportation, but he is nationalized because he was born on US soil, so I'm in full support of the DREAM act.

Not. But I think if we want to battle illegal immigration we should make the path to citizenship easier. It can take years now, which is a reason why many people come in illegaly.

It should remain illegal, they can take the time to get here with the same preperation as we have for entering thier country. And as for the Indians, they fought us for the land, they lost.
