North Carolinians! Amendment One is going to be voted on soon!-moved
This goes out to everyone who is a North Carolinian, someone who knows someone from North Carolina, or well, anyone in general who cares about human rights.
What Amendment One proposes to do, is prevent same sex marriage AND civil unions. As stated from Section One,
"Marriage between one man and one woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized in this State. This section does not prohibit a private party from entering into contracts with another private party; nor does this section prohibit courts from adjudicating the rights of private parties pursuant to such contracts."
Get your parents to vote against Amendment One, before it's too late. The voting begins May the eighth.
