It's nothing new that there are plenty of people who are too stupid and irresponsible to carry guns who can, prompting both people calling for increased restrictions and tougher laws on guns and people fighting such things so they can get guns for protection against the stupid and irresponsible people who may also own them. Recently in Sydney, Australia (my homeland) there was a shooting in which a man who was refused permission to board a bus as he was carrying a rifle shot at the bus, taxi drivers, and into the air. He has is being charged with several counts of assault, and being under the influence of alcohol while operating a fire arm, promoting me to ask; What's your stance? how  would you like to see gun laws change in your country?

the gun laws in Australia are insanely loose. I'd love to see some much tougher restrictions and better screening processes to make sure the wrong people don't get guns.  Same for america, Australia's are worse though.

You lose both ways when it comes to gun control. One way has you put far too much faith into people, the other way allows only for criminals and higher-ups to possess guns.

That's interesting about the Australian gun laws. Does it change in different parts of the country? The people I know that live in Australia say the laws are really strict. -shrug-

I'm all for the purchase of guns and ammunition, though I think safety courses should be mandatory before you're allowed to own one.

Yes, they change from state to state, but overall they're very relaxed, and in most states the background checks are... almost useless, to put it nicely. Almost as bad as not having them at all.

Well, the middle east / Asias as a conglomerate wouldn't be invading if there was an invasion, it'd be a specific country doing it.
