Exactly. Just because you hear something on the news saying they support anti-gay organizations, or read something online that corresponds to the topic, doesn't make what you hear or read anymore true than the point which I'm trying to prove.
First off, Don Cathy hasn't argued that it didn't support these organizations. That hasn't been an issue. Second, I found a great resource for you, but I can't post it due there being too many numbers. Please google "equality matters fact check" and then click on the one that says "Chick-Fil-A donated nealy 2 million..."
I'm going to read it, but what does it matter? "You're well aware of how something being written online doesn't make it true."
Well, I repeat, Dan Cathy never denied that he donated to these organizations. That was never an issue. Second, I think it's a credible resource that I think you might benefit from checking out because it collects a lot of information, including quotes from Dan Cathy and possible links.

@onlyindarkness The press creates false progaganda to continue sells. Who should I believe? Whoever has the most evidence. Thank you for pointing out that there wasn't enough evidence to believe FRC tried to stop Congress from denouncing the Kill The Gays Bill. I know that. I never said that that was okay. No, I'm pointing out that it's clear they are. What you're saying you'll do is exactly what some homophobic people do: not buying goods from places like Green Giant, Gap, Oreo, Levi's, Walgreen's, Pillsbury, Target, and JC Penney's only because they are pro-gay. Doing that puts you in the same category. The category of protestor? Because that's all we have in common. When I boycott it's because these organizations are oppressing me, when those people boycott it's because those organizations aren't oppressing people.
I simply think that everyone has their own beliefs. Boycotting in general is silly (my opinion). Being a teenage homosexual (as am I) isn't going to make anyone listen. My dad told me not to debate the topic, because no one will understand where I'm coming from.

I respect your opinion Grey. You know I do. And I'd never slam anyone for theirs. I'm not gay, I can't tell you or anyone else how to feel. I'm a supporter, I feel its important to me. And I just wanted to clear up that in fact the money did go to those organizations listed and its not in debate as the CEO has not denied it. And I still think your mutant shark/octopi siggy is hilarious.

Im sorry I has not read the whole debate and this is me opinion so far 1. I cant remeber his name but Im gonna call him Chuck - The  CEO should clearify his views and what he supports and pays money to on his companys website and why isnt he doing this?  Hes should be the transparant and Im thinking this is kind of the easy / free way of marketing his company and its like free adverts for him.  2. I does think anyone can say there opinions on anything so long as its respecting everyones rights to equality I think this is me opinion Blush

Even if he hasn't denied it, he hasn't said that it was true either. We have to look at both side of the picture, not just the pro-gay side. You're never going to understand the full picture is you're biased. I'm gay, right? I know that I want equality for something that I can't change. We're going to have it someday anyway. I don't want to waste my childhood withering away while posting forum posts that aren't going to change anything. African-Americans waited for a very long time - as with women in general - for the same rights as white men in the United States. We'll have it soon enough. I'm not going to say anyone's opinion is wrong, either. If I want to donate to a charity that supports or goes against gay rights, I will. I have the right to do what I want to and think how I want to. & thank you. It tries very hard to please you.

He hasn't denied it because he can't. He in fact has, and if he hadn't he would have sued every news media that said he did. THAT IS A FACT. I really don't want people believing the money didn't happen. There is NO doubt it hasn't. Financial records cannot be argued. Someone has to do something or nothing will be done. If people idly stand by racism and womens right would never have been achieved. If you don't wish to, I understand. I will. No problem. And yes, in time equals right will happen. With alot of work.

But if people on kidzworld are so upset about this, they need to get off the computer and do something about it. Sitting on the chair in front of the screen isn't helping anyone. Being fifteen isn't helping me, so I'm simply gathering facts and perspectives to use once I'm eighteen. Maybe other people are doing the same thing. I don't know.
