You have a gross misunderstanding of the situation.
Basically, a group of Salafists either from al-Qa`ida or supporters of its ideology translated the video in question to Arabic in order to incite Muslims to protest. It didn't work. They then showed it to an extremist Egyptian shaykh in al-Azhar University who told people to watch it. Because he's famous for his strange ideas, some Egyptians and Libyans then began to protest.
In the chaos, al-Qa`ida's group in Libya sent fighters to attack the US Embassy in retaliation for the US's meddling in the nation and to avenge the death of one of their leaders. If you realized anything at all, nearly all Muslims in Libya and Egypt had solidarity marches protesting al-Qa`ida's attack soon after. They also made it clear they don't want foreign intervention in their nation's affairs for the obvious reason of self-autonomy.
Moreover, this statement:

This is blatantly false. Please read news reports beforehand. And second of all why should the US be in Libya in the first place? Don't Libyans have the right to their own government? Can't they live without the US urging their interests on their government?
Forgot to mention: My prayers go out to the family of the murder ambassador.
