He has tried too help this economy, but no one is cooperating. Yes. The elections are a large part of the system. We brought in elections to stay away from a tyrannical power such as a King. That was the whole point. >About getting rid of the Electoral College. The Electoral College is stated as a part of the system of receiving a president in our very own constitution. Sure, the constitution is a loose construction, but we still can't abolish it. Besides, our votes count. The Electoral College leans towards the popular vote, and almost always chooses who won over the public.

If so, it's still needed. The fact that the people chose Obama again is just what they thought would be better for the United States. If nothing changes, they learned a lesson.
