I find it funny that every one loves Obama. Most people only liked him because he was "black" (Excuse ME if I'm to blatant about it". You say all people should be treated equally? I know a lot of people voted for him because they didn't want to feel racist if they DIDN'T vote for him. If you ask me that's a bunch of bologna (ba-lo-ni 
)!! In the beginning he didn't do as much good as he did bad but people STILL loved him! They said he was the RIGHT one for America and what not. Well, I'm not hating him because he's black, I don't really have anything against the guy. Granted, I liked McCain better, but still, nothing to do with the facts! Do you know how many black people were there when he was sworn in? Let me tell you, a LOT! So, if you say our country isn't racist, you've got something coming for you!

After he won I mostly only heard people talking about how great it was that we had a black president, I barely heard anyone say that it was great to have someone that will make a difference. People don't always realize that racism goes either way, it isn't something explicet to one nationality.

Well, now i'm going to "scream" at you. You are politically incorrect. When Obama was up against Hillary, lot's of people were leaning to her more then Obama. Then when she got out of elections, there was only Obama Barak and John Mccain. If no one was afraid of being called "Racist" when more people liked Hillary, then they wouldn't have with John Mccain. At the end Obama had better potentials, then John Mccain, so more people voted for Obama, because of his motives. people over the age of eighteen voted, and adults aren't afraid of being stereo styped as Racist because they didn't vote for Barak Obama, It also could be called racisim if everyone didn't vote for John Mccain because he's white. Point is, Adults are more smart then children and aren't afraid of being called "Racists", children are, but not Most Adults. Obama had better potentials then Mccain. End of story.

If you want to look at it that way OK then. But what about what shadow said? Most people weren't saying "He's going to be so good for the country" No, they were saying "I'm glad we have a black president". It doesn't matter about the votes. I personally liked McCain more. Does that mean I'm racist? No, I just liked his ideas more. Yes, I know that was kind of contradicting myself but I really don't care at the moment. But you did have some valid points, I have to say.
