the death penalty should be in place! YES YES YES! just think of it a minute what if a man came and harmed or killed a person you loved....would you not want him to pay? i believe if a person ends another persons life they should get punishment and judgement...they deserve to die and not stay in prison eating food WE PAY FOR and get old and fat....where is the punishment in that? i believe that the eletric chair the hanging and dieing of shots should be in place...here is another example what if a guy/girl was killed by a guy would you not want him to pay? really? ask yourself what if that was your friend your sister brother cousin....would you not want that man/women to pay?

NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!! if someone murders someone, and the law says its not ok, then the law just goes and does wat they are punising that person for!!! Murder is Murder. Think of it this way. Say your mom or dad killed someone, and the court gave them a death sentence, you wouldnt like the death sentences anymore, would you??? NO!!!!!!!!!! SO WHAT IF IT WAS YOUR FAMILY MEMBER WHO WAS GONNA BE KILLED, WOULD YOU WANT THAT, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Think about that next time you say a death sentence is ok or moral.

There were three things I was positive of.

One, Edward was a Vampire.

Two, There was a part of him,(and I didnt know how potent this part was)that thirsted for my blood.

And third, I was completely and totaly in love with him.

actually if my parent killed someone, my views on the subject wouldn't budge an inch. they knew the consequences of what they did before they did it, and thay sill chose to commit murder. i wouldn't be happy about it but i'd still support upholding the law.

I absolutely disagree with the death penalty. Just because someone kills someone or commits a really bad crime, doesn't mean that they deserve to be killed. It doesn't solve anything by giving the criminal the death penalty.

There better serving there life sentence in jail, and being forced to live with what they did. Think of it this way, before they sentence someone to the death penalty they go through several court trials and appeals.

This requires people to pay for lawyers, and tax payers to pay for the judges. It takes months to sentence someone to the death penalty and to carry out the sentence. It is more expensive to give someone the death penalty then to put them in jail.

Execution is murder also. If we kill someone then we are no better then the criminal. It is a sad world that we live in, where some states still do support the death penalty.

Also, what if we make a mistake in a sentence? Say we kill an innocent person, and later determine that they aren't guilty? Then the government will more than likely, get a huge lawsuit from the family of the accused and cost a lot more money.

it costs more money to keep a prisoner in jail for life than it does to kill them, and what makes you think that our justice system just kills people for the fun of it? people are executed after being tried by a jury of their peers and a loooong trial, this isn't something done cavalierly. plus, they normally get several appeals while they're on death row. there are now more people sentenced to death dying of old age than are actually being executed.

It is my personal oppinoin that if you agree with death penaltys you are a hypocrite. So deal with it!

There were three things I was positive of.

One, Edward was a Vampire.

Two, There was a part of him,(and I didnt know how potent this part was)that thirsted for my blood.

And third, I was completely and totaly in love with him.

how does thinking that somebody should be punished for murder make you a hypocrite? you can't say something and have no reason for using that argument

I agree murderers should be punished, however the death penalty is not the way to go about it. I believe there punishment should be life in prison without any chance at parole, or let out after quite some time. 25 years ain't life, murder should be life. You die in jail sorta thing.
