Irene and Roman locked arms as they quietly walked through the empty street, only few cars outlining the sidewalks. There was no person out but then, but there were a few stray cats and normal crows flying through the night sky. A cold gust swept over them, but it didn't give them any affect since they were immune to harsh weather.

Evree:
The cold wind didn't bother Marshall as much as it did me. He missed winter. It was his favorite season. He wrapped his arms around my waist, holding me close to him. We made our way out of the country side to the city where we used to live.
"You know, in a few months, he'll be old enough to fend for himself. He's going to want to venture off like you did, well be alone. We can move back to the city. Live like we used to."
I frowned, looking at the pavement on the side walk. I knew it was true.
"Soon we'll have to call him my brother... Or people will get suspicious. He'll no longer call us Mom and Dad..."
My voice trailed off, leaving me in my thoughts.

Marshall:
Oliver was our life. It would be devastating for her once he left to be an adult. I sighed and kissing the top of her head, continuing to walk in the cold summer night.

Irene:
I looked down at my feet in worry; what if Charmaine had woken up the moment we left? I felt Roman's warm hand rub my arm in reassurement, and I looked up at him. "Don't worry, Charmaine is smart for her age, she'll know what to do." I lowly sighed and simply nodded; he wrapped his arms around me, and I laid my head on his shoulder.

Evree:
I hated thinking like this. Marshall could tell I was upset as well. He suddenly cut in front of me and grabbed my waist. 
"What are you doing #####?#

Marshall:
I laughed and lifted her up, to which she began giggling. I put her on my back and started walking. She rested her head on my shoulder, wrapping her arms around me. She kissed my cheek, to which I smiled, flashing my fangs.

Roman:
I didn't like to see Irene worried, it made me feel guilty for not asking her what was up, but then again I knew her well, so I easily understood what she was going on about. "Are you sure? She's only two years old," Irene murmured. "I'm sure; like I said, she's smarter than she should be," I chuckled. Irene simply smiled, and kept quiet. After a few minutes, I began to grow uneasy, and that's when the petrifying smell crossed my path.

Irene:
I noticed that Roman had seemed unusual, and I knew what was going on. "Roman.... lets just continue our walk, we can't let them disturb our night."

Marshall:
Evree's breathing was growing heavy, indicating she was falling asleep. I smiled. I sighed, taking in the scent of the night. And then I smelled it.
"You've got to be kidding me."

Evree:
His voice broke into my head as I almost fell asleep. My eyes shot open, then slowly closed again.
"What is it?"
Then I too, smelled it. Oh no.
"Just let it go Marshall Lee."
He scowled, rolling his eyes most likely. I felt him rise into the sky, then land again. We were walking on top of the buildings. At least he listened to me.

Roman:
If I weren't so controlled by my ancestor's instincts I would have listened to Irene. I could feel my inner wolf's claws tearing through my 'border'; it was what kept the spirit of the wolf inside and under control, though it wouldn't always keep it in. "Roman," I heard Irene's relaxing voice. "Just leave it."

Marshall:
The scent grew stronger, and I became tense out of instinct. I bared my fangs and growled.

Evree: 
"Marshall...#
I tightened my grip on him, remaining perfectly calm. He scowled. 
"Marshall please..."
He sighed, but I knew he was still barring his fangs.

Irene:
I was getting annoyed with Roman and Marshall, specifically the 'werewolves versus vampires.' "I don't get it, what's up with werewolves and vampires being enemies? Is it because you guys smell differently to each other?" I asked him with annoyance, but he kept silence.

Evree:
I heard her comment and snickered.
"Dont laugh. It's not funny."
Marshall used his "Im trying to be serious" tone. To be honest, it makes him sound like a little kid whose having a his sky fit. I snickered more.
"Yes it is, she's right!"

Marshall:
I rolled my eyes, growling.
"No, she's not. There's total physics to it, you just don't understand."
She sarcastically laughed.
"Dont understand?! Ha! I don't think you realize you're talking to a Vampire Goddess."
I rolled my eyes. I ran to the edge of the building and jumped. 
"Marshall! Stop!"
We landed softly, and then she jumped off my back as I expected her to. 
"I can't believe you."
She crossed her arms and began walking ahead of me.
"I can't believe YOU, Evree!"
"Ugh!"
She rolled her eyes and continued walking. They were close. 
"I swear Marshall, if you do anything, I will #### ###.#
