I pressed my thumb down on the blade, taking in a small breath. I had never done this before... but I knew how.... I had watched many scarrings.... And I could still remember my own.

I smiled slightly at Kwasii, glancing up at Juliet. I looked back at Kwasii as he started. It hurt a little, but that was obvious. I mean, it was a blade going into my forehead but the part that really hurt was putting the dirt in the cuts so they would rise like they were supposed to.

I watched, amazed. "Whoa..." I muttered and smiled.
