Caspar was in the dining room, sitting next to his father on one side and his mother and sister on the other. They looked down at the food that the slaves had served them, which seemed good enough, but the queen's silverware was missing. "Violet!" Caspar's father's voice boomed.

Caspar looked over at Violet, but then looked back down at his untouched plate. "Go get silverware for your queen, how dare you forget her like that?" Caspar's father's voice and emotions were rough, but it was completely different to his mother.

i curtsey and back out of the room when i get to my quaters in the basement i let out a small sob, then i gather a few things and start helping in the kitchens
