"Sorry," Dax said, and then cursed himself for being so ironic. "Look, keep going. We're almost there..."
They arrived at the hospital eventually and Dax ran to the reception. "Look, we need a medical assistant now! My friend fell, and hurt herself..."
"Oi," the receptionist snapped. "You need to book an appointment."
"No, you don't understand! She's losing too much blood, now get us a doctor!"
"Oi, son! Don't give me that attitude and sit in the waiting room."
"No. Look, take this money. Take it all!" He pulled the wallet he had stolen to impress Demi earlier from his jacket pocket and shoved it under her nose. "Happy? Good, Demi, come on," he said haughtily, and barged through the swinging doors, silence casting over the room at his obnoxity.

"Did you have an appointment? Wait never mind, the blood loss is too fast for that"as he searches for suitable equipment he asks "how did this happen?"

Dax looked at Demi helplessly and squeezed his eyes shut, hoping he was making the right decision. "Use the antiseptic," he said, opening his eyes and looking at Demi reassuringly.
"Ok, thank you very much, now if you could just step out of the room and take a seat in the waiting room."
"No," Dax said reluctantly. "I want to stay with her."
"Sorry kid, but this is a serious cut and I need you to go for a few moments." The doctor pulled out some equipment.
"No, I want to stay here!"
"Please, step out of the room!"
"No! If you think I'm just going to leave my girlfriend in a surgery with some random doctor guy who wants to stick a needle in her, then you are messed up! And if you were a good enough doctor, you wouldn't find it so hard to let me stay with my girlfriend just for a few stitches! Maybe you could just stop staring at me like that like I'm a maniac and just think about other people's feelings and what I want to do, and what I want to do is stay here for the surgery! The only way you'll get me out of here is to personally call some big strong security dudes and have them lift me out and dump me on the floor, and if not then step off, jerk!"
"Ow!" Dax protested as the big, strong security man dropped him on the floor outside the hallway. "That hurt! Watch what you're doing!" He muttered some rude words at the man and brushed himself down pompously.
