Trent listened quietly as he heard yelling. He stopped in front of Angel's house and sighed.
A peaceful walk was about to turn into another stand up. He stayed on the sidewalk and listened for a moment, trying to see if he could determine what was going on.

Angel stood quietly as her boyfriend yelled. She closed her eyes trying not to cry again. Angel knew she should be used to Dan's constant screaming but she honestly wasn't. "Dan, please. Just listen." She managed to say when he was catching a breath. She didn't do anything wrong in her perspective, Angel had just started talking about one of her favorite guy bands, and he'd taken it the wrong way.

( Couldn't think of any things to make him angry so I just looked something up on google :P )

Trent smacked is forhead as he listened to what was going on. "This topic again?" he muttered to himself. He slowly crept up their walkway, not caring if Dan noticed him. He stood infront of the door preparing to knock.

Dan ranted as he paced back and forth. He paused as he heard a knock. He looked at Angel, an annoyed look on his face. "Well...Arn't you going to get it?" He asked rudely.

Angel basically ran to the door, glad for the excuse to get away from Dan. She wiped her eyes before she opened it. "Hey Trent." She grinned at her friend, trying to hide the sadness she had before. She had opened the door halfway so that Trent wouldn't see Dan, and Dan wouldn't see him.

"Hey." He said with half smile.  "You okay? I thought I heard some yelling..." He said looking at her, his expression now rather serious.

Dan muttered. "Is that Trent?" He glared at the door. He walked towards the door, pushed Angel ou of his way and slammed it. "I thought I told you not to talk to him!..." He yelled.

Angel stumbled backwards, but gained back her balance by grabbing the side of the wall. "Dan!" She yelled back. "Trent's just trying to help. He probably just wanted to talk was all. I don't see what's so bad about him." She muttered, still hanging onto the wall.

Dan gave her a look of disgust. "He is alway trying to break us up! Angel, are you blind? Geez..." He shook his head and turned to walk away into the bedroom. He he walked he muttered many things under his breath.

Trent opened the door on his own this time. He didn't bother asking to come in as he rushed Angel's side. "Are you okay?..."

Angel nodded. "Yeah. Thanks Trent." She shook her head, letting go of the wall. "I'm sorry for Dan's behavior." Angel smiled at him, knowing Dan was out of the room.
