“You tell me.” Charlie leaned in closer, elbows on the table and chin resting on his palms, “What else are my eyes telling you now?”
Before there could be anymore of this messing around, the waiter came back, “One Mango Delight for the lovely little lady, and a coke for you young, sir.” Marvel passed the dirks out, greeting the two with a smile, “Pardon me, but is this a first date?” He used his pen to gustier.
Charlie rolled his eyes at the interruption before putting his hands on the end of the table and leaning back, “First date? You could say that, though I feel like she knows enough about me to say we’ve been on ten dates. But she, a beautiful mystery.”
Marvel seemed a little lost for words, but put his hands together, “Well, if you haven’t already chosen what you want to eat, might I suggest the lovers special?” He picked up Alana’s menu and pointed it out to mostly her.
