The alarm goes off. Cinnamon groans in her pillow, as she sits up and turns it off. She gets up changes into her clothes and brushes her teeth and combs her long silky blonde hair letting it hang. She walked out of her dorm to get something to eat. Locking the door behind her.
Michael squints his eyes looking way up high at a huge apartment building. This would be a perfect place to find supplies. he thought as he walked over to it and pushed open the front door. When he looked around he saw that it was the lobby. Papers were scattered all on the floor and chairs were knocked down.
Abigail heard something downstairs. Somethings in the lobby she thought chewing on her bottom lip nervously. She slowly left the room she was hiding in and crept down the hall quietly as she looked around cautiously.
She pushed open one of the doors and scanned the Cafeteria. Already there were people sitting at tables eating, or in line waiting to get their food. She sighed.
When Michael walked in the door slammed behind him. He jumped turned around to make sure it wasn't anything else. He sighed in relief as he slowly turned around and began to walk around the lobby making not one sound.
Abigail held her breath as she slowly made her way down the steps making sure that they didn't squeak. She finally got to the bottom and peeked around the corner.
"Earth to Cinnamon!" A voice awfully familiar said. She blinked and snapped out of her train of thought. She turned around and her friend Desiree was standing next to her smirking, "Hey Des." their started talking and walked up to the line.
Michael slowly looked around and was about to walk around the corner, until he seen a girl peeking from the corner. He backed up, "A-Are you one of them?" he asked.
Abigail shook her head. "You're not either." She said quietly before she stepped forward looking up at him. She bit her lip out of habit as she looked around. "I'm guessing you're looking for supplies?" She asked quietly.
Michael nodded. "Yes." He said softly then walked a little bit closer to her.
Abigail looked up at him, "There's enough here..." She told him softly. "Take what you need..." She said quietly with a small nod.
