Catherine walked through the busy street, she really needed to find a job... after being kicked out she'd managed to survive by travelling a couple of towns away, now all she needed was a way to pay for her meal... she trudged onwards, into a large open square with a statue in the centre.

Mag slid behind what seemed to be a statue of some sort, trying to get away from her father and her aunt. It would be a while before they realized she was missing, but she would be severely punished when they found her--as always.

She stopped, watching a girl hastily enter the square, and slide behind the statue at the centre, as if she was hiding... Catherine walked over to the statue and, after taking a seat on the opposite side introduced herself to the girl. "Hello there, My name's Catherine, are you ok? you look worried and out of breath..." she leant back, her head resting against the statue.
