I stare at him. "So you're making it up?"
Mag: "Well, back home, I have to use a dozen blankets and spells to keep the cold out. And it's not as if I can really tell one street from the next in all the snow."
I run to the bathroom with the wrap again.
I stare at him a moment, then laugh. "Not at all."
"Well..." I sigh. "No. My house is--well, technically not a house, and my clothes are all kind of--old and handed down and such. But--" normally this hurts to think about, but it comes in handy now-- "Kyoko probably isn't coming back, so we can probably take over his house for the winter."
