(What grade do you start highschool in?) "No... I... I totally understand,"I said softly, rolling my lips gently as I looked down at the ring on my finger. I closed my eyes as my fingers gripped it, slowly pulling the silver band off. I let out a breath and opened my eyes, standing up,"I wouldn't get married to someone I don't know, either,"I said gently, setting the ring in his hand. He didn't know... He had no idea how much I loved him, what we had been through together... What our story was. And, having him cut this off, it killed me... I took a slow, deep breath, my hand locking together at the small of her back, loosely holding her... She was okay, I didn't scare her... I kissed the top of her head and smiled gently,"I don't know about that... But, you're pretty amazing..."

The look in her eyes.. The way she moved, how hurt she looked... It hurt me... I looked down as her ring fell into my hand. I couldn't believe it.. I knew it was her dream to get married, and I saw that in her eyes.. But.. I just couldn't remember.. I gripped her hand before she could go back to the chair. "Wait..." I said, and I pulled her into a hug. "I'm so, so sorry..."  I chckled softly, and I looked up, and kissed his jaw. "Well.. Thank you.." I said, and I continued to slowly trace invisible patterns in his chest with my fingertips. "What would I do without you.."

I clung to him, pushing my face into his chest, taking a few deep breaths. I gently pulled back, feeling the glaze over my eyes. I looked up at him for a moment and shook my head,"Don't be sorry, Charnley... You haven't done anything wrong,"I said softly, rubbing his arms gently as I took a slow breath. "I don't know... What would you do without me?"I asked gently, looking down at her. That finger was hypnotizing, and although it was just tracing circles, it was doing so much more.

This hurt, I didn't like seeing her so sad and upset for my doing.. I relaxed, that I felt the small connection we had, I really did like her, she was so kind, and forgiving.. But seeing her now, she looked fragile, and sad.. I pulled her back to me slowly, my face going in the crook of her neck. "I'll make it all better.. Okay?" I whispered.  I looke up at him, and I felt my lips go into a slight frown. "I'd most likely be gone.. Dèad.." I whispered the last word. It was true, too.. He was the reason I was here, still alive, and safe from any harm.. He took a knife to the side for me! .. God, I'll never forget that evening..

"Oh... Honey,"I said softly, feeling his breath on my skin. I sighed gently,"You don't have to do anything,"I whispered gently, pulling away slowly. I looked down, closing my eyes gently. This was it... We were over... The one boy who promised to never, ever leave me... I looked up,"I... I need to go,"I said gently, feeling my bottom lip quiver as I walked out of my room and out the front door. "Ho.. Hey, now,"I said gently, looking down at her,"You are here... And you are alive. And, you are mine,"I said with a smile, leaning in and kissing her neck softly.

(Sorry, forgot to answer you, I start high school in 9th grade.)  (And, how about Charnley rememberes everything in a few days? )  Where was she going? It felt as if a piece of me broke off.. I never said we were over... I said that the wedding shouldn't happen now. Well, I guess that is sorta of a break up. Dammît. I took my ring off also, and walked back to my bedroom, hearing the front door close.. And I set the rings in front of a picture of me and her kissing, and it looked to be at a fair or carnival. I sat on my bed.. Saddened by this situation.  I smiled, and nodded slowly. "And I'm glad for all those things..." I said, and I felt something brush against my leg, Mishka's paw, pawing at my leg, giving me a sad look, wanting attention, too. "okay, Okay." I said, and I sat up, and stroked her gently. She was a sweetheart

(That was the same way here.   And, it is your characters. If you want them to fall in love all over again, we can do that, if you want him to remember all of a sudden, that works, too. ) I almost expected him to come after me... That's what old Charnley would do... This wasn't the old Charnley though. I sat on the porch for a little while, staring at the tan line where my ring used to be. I sighed softly and walked inside, walking down the hall slowly, staring at the pictures. I walked into my room, opening th pictures again... Some from before the cancer, some from the bear attack, during the cancer... Everything. It was all gone now. I smiled gently, closing my eyes for a second,"We'll go to the petstore in the morning, get her everything she needs... But for tonight? I think it's time for bed..."

It was getting dark outside.. Already? Well, I Spent most of the day thinking, and that makes time fly I guess. I slowly laid down on my bed, and I couldn't get this off my mind... I felt so, so close to grabbing my memories, and opening up the world I had forgotten about.. But.. I had to open my stupid mouth about it, and here I am... Drowning in guilt, of hurting her... I didn't know who my old self was.. The one I didn't know, but he must have REALLY loved her, and I could see the pain in her.. (Alrighty. x] )  I nodded slowly, and I stood up slowly, blacking out for a few seconds, and then re-gaining my balance. I hated that, when I stood up too quickly.. I walked into my bedroom, and plopped onto my bed slowly. "Sleep in my room tonight?"

As nine o'clock rolled around, I walked down the hall, gently pushing his door open. I noticed him lying there, and I sighed gently, he must be asleep... I pursed my lips and closed his door gently, walking back to my own room, letting the door sit open as I walked to my window, hugging myself. "Alright,"I said with a smile, looking at Mishka,"Does she get to sleep on our beds?"

I opened my eyes when I heard my door close. I sat up slowly, and ran my hand threw my hair. I slowly stood up, and I opened my door, and I walked down the hallway, seeing Amelia's door was open. I stood in the doorway, watching her look out the window. "So.. We are done?.." I asked, and I still felt terrible.. She really loved me, but.. I wasn't sure if I felt the same right now..  "Nope, she can lay on a blanket on the ground.." I said, and I stood, and opened y closet, and took out a comfortable blanket, and laid it on the ground, and as I did so Mishka scurried over, and took her place on it, an laid down. I chuckled, and laid back down on my bed.
