Eden blinked, tightening her arms around herself and turning away, giving a shrug. "Depends on if I died or not." She mumbled, wincing slightly. "I probably would have pretended not to care, though..." She said softly, suddenly thoughtful.

Eden winced, feeling a bit...hurt by the comment. "Maybe because you need a friend as much as I do?" She mumbled, tugging her hood down tighter over her eyes. "That must be why you're so mean. You don't have friends, do you?"

Eden took a half-step backwards, putting a hand to her chest as his cold tone hit her ears. She watched him walk away as she spoke. "I'm sorry to bother you, then...I'll make sure we don't run into each other again..." She stated, turning and heading towards her home. She didn't know him, but his words still hurt. A lot. She moved her hand up, wiping at her eyes as she walked up her driveway.

(How shall that happen? xD) Eden walked inside, closing and locking the door behind her. She heard her aunt call after her but said nothing as she hurried up the steps to her room. Sitting on her bed, Eden tugged her hood down and ran a hand through her hair before glancing at the clock. It's only six... She sighed, looking down at her feet.
