Kylara ran away as fast as she could and stabbed Drake in the back, pushing him out of the way. Her head hurt and her arms were aching but she was determined to save her best friend. She grabbed Lilly and ran, sort of staggering and nearly fell over once, but she regained her balance and tightened her grip, never once looking back. She got back to their house (since she knew exactly where it was) and locked every single bolt. She laid Lilly on the couch and barred the windows, her headache getting worse. As she did this, she fell onto the floor and passed out. ~
Drake had nearly just had his fangs hovering over her neck, when a sharp pain stabbed him in the back. He got up and growled, seeing that girl from earlier run away with his prey. "JAMES LET'S GO NOW!" He shouted, running after her, but it was too late. He didn't see the corner she turned and there were like three paths. He glared after them. She will be mine.. He thought, as he turned to death glare at James.

James rolled his eyes "dude really like im still scared of your death glares" he looked at the vampire boy and cracked his skull he also looked back in the direction his prey went.....i like challenges...and this girl is a challenge he thought

hours later Lilly woke up he head throbbed and her face stung lilly just laid there for a couple of minutes keeping her eyes closed she then opened them...Lilly was in her house on her couch Lilly sat up and found Kyle on the floor "Kyla!" Lilly jumped up and sat beside her shaking her shoulders lightly repeating Kyla's name even though her body ached she did this.

After a minute, Kylara woke up, opening one eye as the carpet was stained crimson from her head bleeding. "Hummm.. What..? She asked, sitting up and her head throbbed again, to which she grabbed it. "Ughhhh... My head hurts.." She said, as she dared to not move her arms from the soreness and the purple bruises.
Drake just kept on doing it. "Dude, you idiot. You just HAD to fight that guy and lose her which made me lose MY girl. And I could tell she was my favorite blood type!! You're going to fix this." He said, crossing his arms and his eyes darkening.

James shook his head "nnnooo you get your's....and i'll get mine that only seems fair...now we dont know where they are....so we should just head home............or you could just find someone else with your favorite blood type,but i dont know about you ...but im going home then searching tomorow" James said walking off
Lilly looked at Kyla and noted her arms were badly brused and it probly hurt to move them so Lilly picked Kyla up and set her on the couch and ran to get icepacks for both of them even though it hurt to move for Lilly also

Kylara smiled gratefully at Lilly. She was so lucky she had escaped - With Lilly too. They could have both been done for. Stupid... Good looking.. Vampire.. Guy. She thought and waited patiently, realizing she only had one dagger. "Aww.. I lost my other one.." She said, a little angry but mostly sad.
Drake growled lowly, and stared off into where Lilly got away. He then turned "Fine." He snapped "But we're leaving first thing in the morning." He said, catching up to him easily.

Lilly walked in the room with the icepacks "it's okay i'll get you another one tomorow" Lilly promised she sat beside Kyla and put two of the icepacks on Kyla one on each arm "we're so lucky we were able to get away" Lilly said to Kyla "atleast it gives us another reason to want to kill them...they tried to kill us" Lilly said yawning
James rolled his eyes "Drake your acting like you just lost your girlfriend to another guy" he joked we'll get e'm.... he thought they made it home seconds later

I wish she was my girlfriend... Drake thought, and just walked inside and went to his room. He was still angry, he could have been bringing her here right now, if it wasn't for his lousy friend. He crossed his arms and put his headphones in. Coffins were a myth, he actually had a bed. He soon fell asleep, the music still playing.
Kylara pressed it against her arms a little more, the coolness felt good against the burning bruise, and after a while she fell asleep on the couch, grasping her only dagger tightly.

The Next Day

Lilly woke up earily and wrote a quick note for Kyla the not saying :
went to get u another dagger...i borrowed your coat with a hood bye back soon -love Lilly
Lilly walked outside the coat hood covering her face just in case that vampire desided to come back and look for her Lilly shivered at the thought of him biting her Lilly hurried to the knife and gun store.....not at all far from the place where she was attacked
James was up already drinking a cup of coffee Drake must have forgotten that James could read minds he heard his thoughts yesturday ha he was talking about it before we left about nabbing a human girl he smiled at the memory

Kylara awoke with a start, rubbing her head. She found the note and stared at it for awhile, until she was finally awake enough to get what it said. Well, that's nice of her... But she'll be out there all alone! She sighed, and stood outside by the front door, still in her coat from last night. She would just wait until she came back. No big deal.
Drake walked down and stared at his friend. "Why the &%#@ are you smiling? Let's go." He said, standing up and walking to the door.

James sighed and put his coffee cup down "fine im up and ready" he stood and walked through the door shuting it behind them both
Lilly just made it to the shop and was in there finding a dagger exactly like the one Kyla lost,.Finally finding one Lilly purchased it and walked quickly out the store
