Maia- I smiled gently at Archer, hearing the little arrogance in his voice, but I didn't mind. "It suits me? The name Archer.. Does that mean you like archery?" I joked weakly, holding my own bow tightly in my hand as I gazed into Archer's eyes. He seemed like the kind of guy I would love to date. I smiled brightly at this man, brushing a loose strand of my raven hair from my piercing emerald eyes.

Archer

"Yes. I've done archery ever since I was a young boy. My mother knew that I was going to be an archer, even before I was born, so that's how I was named Archer," I said, but then I remembered that Eli was still behind me. I turned to face him, "No worries, she is not an enemy," I told him, but be on high guard, I then mind linked him, and Eli nodded. 

He shrunk in size as he became his normal sized wolf, his now green eyes simply glancing at Maia and I.

Maia- I nodded at Archer, seeing the wolf simply glancing at Archer and I. I gave off a reassuring smile, before sighing. "My father named me Maia. He said he knew I was going to be a warrior someday, and he would be proud.... He taught me archery, while my mother taught me training stances and how to defend myself without a bow...." I began, gulping as I almost got to my weakest point. "Once my mother disappeared from our home, my farther went out looking for her.. It turned out, she was dead. A wolf killed her... My farther was so shocked, he had a heart-attack." I said, my voice cracking greatly.

Archer

I frowned slightly, but decided to not go too weak. "My parents were hunted by an army of werewolves, since my mother had given birth to my younger sister, who turned out to be a hybrid of a vampire and a fire nymph. They killed all three of them," I said plainly, but inside my frozen heart actually dropped.

Maia- I frowned unnoticeably, and felt my heart dropping into my stomach. "You know, I'd hug you, but It isn't 'hug-someone-you-barely-know Day'" I said, attempting another lame joke. I felt a bit of pity, but I just shook it off. "Ohh... Looks like we have something in common, loss of family." I stated, my voice plain and emotionless. "When my dad died, he told me something I'll never be able to forget, .. He told me, 'You need to be strong-willed, and just fight on. One day, you'll find someone that'll understand you more than anyone, and he will help you through..'" I murmured, sighing.

Archer

I chuckled lightly. "Sounds more of a prophecy, don't you think?" Staring at Maia as she sighed. "Why he? Why can't it be a she?" I questioned her, my eyes looking up and down at her as I took in her appearance.

Maia- I just simply shrugged, hearing his chuckle echo in my mind. "I'm not sure, and he said 'he', so it must be a he.. Or a she in disguise.." I said, arising my eyebrow at the end. I pretended to stroke a fake beard as I narrowed my eyes. "Hmm... Maybe it's a she with a mustache!" I called out suddenly, putting a hand next to my cheek, my mouth making an 'o', as I smiled. I laughed slightly, my breath hitching in my throat as I looked into his eyes.

Archer

I grinned, my fangs showing, and shook my head. "She-male, I suppose. Though, that would be extremely awkward if such thing would happen."

Maia- "Dude, isn't life awkward enough?" I said, faking a groan at the end of my sentence. I gazed at his fangs, my neck stinging slightly, but only slightly. "So, Archer..." I murmured, wringing my hands together. "Whatcha' doing?" I asked randomly, my eyes glimmering as they met his.

Archer

My eyebrow arched as my eyes stared at Maia. "I'm doing nothing but talking to you," I said as strided towards her and wrapped my left arm behind her waist. "And now I'm taking you to my palace."
