This is one of my favorite series of books. I love how the author Darren Shan leaves you in suspense at the end of these books. Then he gives you an insight of the next book. I can''t wait for Sons of Destiny, sadly the last book in this series.
Cirque De Freak is a fictional book. Here is a summary of the first book if you are wondering what it is about, "Darren Shan''s an ordinary schoolboy, until he and his best friend Steve get tickets to the Cirque Du Freak, a bizarre freak show featuring such arcane performers as Hans Hands, Gertha Teeth, the Wolf Man and Rhamus Twobellies. In the midst of the ghoulish excitement, true terror raises its head when Steve recognises that one of the performers -- Mr Crepsley -- is in fact a vampire!"
P.S. The author Darren Shan wanted a character who shared his name even if it''s not his real name.
