Emily runs down the stairs and grabs her backpack she is all ready except for her shoes. She grabs her converse shoes, ties the purple shoelaces, and heads out the door. She sits on the curb waiting for the bus. She puts her head down and thinks to herself, I hope this year will be okay....


Mike grabbed his backpack and ran out the door. He sat on the porch waiting for the bus. He hoped he would make new friends this year.
