Scarlet heads to the library to get her schedule:

Period two: English
Period three: History
Period four: Biology
Period five: Lunch and free period
Period six: Art
Period seven: Music/ band
Period eight: Physical Education

Lilly walked through the front gates of the school. It was huge! She admired all the snack stands and the various building and the excited students. She glanced at her schedule and searched for her first class. She wandered towards the academics building and located her geometry class. She was nervous about being a new student this year. Lucy walked into Geometry with wide eyes. Everyone looked so normal and casual here! WHY weren't they all amazed? This place was huge! She sat down quietly and suddenly felt like everyone was staring at her braids.

The day passes uneventfully until period seven, which is Scarlets favorite period. Accidentally, as she was walking into the classroom, she stumbled upon Lena.

Lilly sat her desk and glanced around. Class didnt start for a few more minutes, but she didnt want to wander around alone. She took out her schedule and read it over again.

Period one: Advanced Geometry
Period two: Advanced English
Period three: Advanced Theater
Period four: Advanced History
Period five: Lunch and free period 
Period six: Advanced Chemistry
Period seven: Chorus
Period eight: Physical Education

She sighed to herself. Dumb parents, she thought. Making me take all advanced classes. Lets pray I don't fail. She laughed at that. Imagine the fuss her parents would make if she flunked out of a school they paid thousands of dollars for.
