The Apple Tree

Once lived an old apple tree, that was big beyond compare. It never seemed happy and would usually look up in the sky without a single thought within his head. One day the farmer came to the tree and noticed its unhappiness from the fact that the tree was sagging. He asked the tree what was the matter, and the tree said that it one day hoped to become a peach tree, but no peaches grew from its branches. The farmers smiles and says that the tree is confused.

The tree was meant to grow apples and not peaches, and trying to be something it's not will defeat the purpose of the tree existing. The apple tree didn't care, he just wanted to grow peaches so he would look more beautiful. While spraying water around the unhappy tree, the farmer says that the tree should accept who he is, whether he likes it or not.

The farmer then leaves and the apple looks up with many thoughts in his head. The next day as the farmer came to pick an apple from the tree, the tree says that he would like to grow apples instead.
