Why Me?

There was once a little boy that was ending grade school. He was most likly never going to see his friends again. "Why me? Why, Mom?" he asked his mom. "You'll have a great time in middle school! You'll have new friends...." his mom started. " That's what I'm afraid of! I don't want to just forget my old friends and find new ones!" he yelled. his mom answered him, " You don't have to forget them......... lets just drop this subject. What do you want for supper?" He ran up to his room, tears in his eyes yelling " I knew you wouldn't be there to talk!" That night, his mom didn't come to say good- night. That morning, his mom didn't get him up for school, so he missed the bus. In fact, he slept untill 12:00 and had missed over half of school, so why go? So when he finally got up, he went down stairs to find his mom. "Mom!" he yelled, "Where are you?" That's when he found a note. This is what it said,

Dear Jake,

I'm sorry about what I've done, please forgive me. But I can't go on! I have left you to go to the bridge at the Grand Canyon. There, I will jump off and kill myself. This isn't about me not talking to you, I've done something unspeakable, and must die. I'm sorry and I love you, goodbye.

Mom

"NO!!!" Jake yelled and burst out crying. "No no no no no no no no NO!!!!!!!" Then he heard the T.V. "Mom?" he asked. He ran to the living room to look. She was only on the T.V. Jake was to late. He watched, waiting, pinching himself yelling, "IT'S A DREAM! A DREAM! WAKE UP! IT'S A DREAM!" But it really, truly wasn't. On the news, they were talking about how his mom jumped off the bridge with an extordinary leap, and died. "Why me? Why?" he said as before. Then, his mom walked in the door!"APRIL FOOLS!!!!!!!!!!" she yelled. "YOU! YOU STUPID WOMAN! YOU SICKEN ME!!!!!!!!!!!" Jake yelled, "I'M RUNNING AWAY YOU SICK, SICK THING!" "No! Don't! I'm sorry!" his mom yelled. "APRIL FOOLS!" Jake yelled, "Gotcha!"

NOTE TO READERS: yes, I know, I'm sorry but by the end I was tired of being depressed. I'm really sorry, but hopefully you have a really good sense of humor......... sorry again!
