Words.

Words are very powerful. They can make. They can break.

A person or society.

It is ours to watch what we say. To think about the consequences. What will happen, if these words are spilled out of my mouth?

Will my friend grow strong because of my words? Or will the friendship break? Possibly beyond repair.

Will my enemy grow even more dangerous? Or will my words bring him back to sit with me? To reason with me?

How can we be so careless? Knowing that our words can do so much damage, and we still let them out? Is there a mute button? Will we ever be able to keep our tongues from evil?

Maybe, if we feed our minds and hearts with goodness and love. To read, watch and listen with understanding. Being careful of what we are taking in.

Maybe there is hope for our generation, if we start thinking with compassion. And keeping the other's needs in mind, instead of ours.
